When I was invited for the second time to propose a project for Benq mabuville in Taiwan i remembered the first time I was there I was very surprised of this incredible beautiful super Hi-tec minimalist architecture buildings in the middle of a jungle with lush vegetation. I imagined the place as it was before the intervention and felt all the spiritual ecosystem of the place must have suffered immensely, and proposed building a house for them, as acknowledging being conscious of their existence and offering what we consider a house as an exchange for our intervention.
Cuando fui invitado por segunda vez a proponer un proyecto para Benq mabuville en Taiwán, recordé la primera vez que estuve allí en el año 2010. Me sorprendieron mucho estos increíbles y hermosos edificios de arquitectura súper Hi-tech minimalista en medio de una jungla con vegetación exuberante.
Me imaginé el lugar como era antes de la intervención y sentí que todo el ecosistema espiritual del lugar debió sufrir muchísimo, y les propuse construirles una casa a los espíritus de ese bosque primario, en primer lugar como reconociendo ser conscientes de su existencia y ofrecer lo que consideramos una casa a cambio de nuestra intervención en su territorio.
