Our ancestral cultures in Colombia call stones the grandmothers, they believe stones are the keepers of the ancestral memory of the earth.
I believe that the materials they’re made of (specially those made with of quartz and silicium) are capable of retaining information from any frequency around them meaning sound, movement, live being, thought, feeling…etc.
Wave is my representation of that characteristic of the stones.
Nuestras culturas ancestrales en Colombia llaman a las piedras abuelas, creen que las piedras son las guardianas de la memoria ancestral de la tierra.
Creo que los materiales de los que están hechas (especialmente las que tienen altos contenidos de cuarzo y silicio) son capaces de retener información de cualquier frecuencia a su alrededor, ya sea sonido, movimiento, ser vivo, pensamiento, sentimiento…etc.
Wave es mi representación de esa característica de las piedras.
